clean rooms, convenient entry from busy streets, proximity to major Roman landmarks
If you're on the 4th floor, prepare for the stairs!!! Water pressure in the shower is an issue that needs addressing!!! It would also be nice to have better coffee options.

The perfect base for exploring Rome
Hotel Argentina is a gem in Rome, just a short 5-minute walk from the Termini station. The staff were helpful, providing us with great transport tips. The breakfast featured good Italian pastries, setting a sweet start to our busy days of sightseeing at places like the Colosseum and Basilica, all within easy reach. What's more, our room was spotlessly clean and warm, thanks to effective air conditioning.

We traveled to Rome for the May holidays. Hotel Argentina is a 7-10 minute walk from Rome Train Station. Several supermarkets are nearby and all major attractions are within walking distance. hotel is located on the 4th floor of the building. You can find the hotel by following the golden sign in the center of the building, sign is duplicated in front of the entrance to the elevator. room is small but cozy and has everything you need. room is cleaned daily. comfortable hotel, small fridge, safe, TV. If you travel from Russia, you do not need adapters for sockets. polite staff, at the reception helped with printing airline tickets to the plane. For breakfast you can choose several kinds of buns, croissants, cheese, ham, yogurt, there is a coffee machine. There is also a choice of juices.

location of the hotel is excellent. Termini Station and Metro Station are 5-7 minutes' walk away. main attractions are within 15-20 minutes on foot. Opposite the hotel is supermarket. Everything is as described, hotel has a 24-hour reception and friendly staff. friendly staff, cereal, meats, cheese, muffins, croissants, jam. Housekeeping every day. Lived for three days. changed towels. did not change bed linen, just made the bed, Room refrigerator, air conditioning, safe. city tax was 4 euros per person per day,
The minuses are minor. - no carpeting, your feet are cold, take your socks or slippers with you... - no duvet cover, a sheet is offered for covering, and a woollen blanket on top;. - the showerhead is attached to the wall in one position and is not adjustable, water is poured over your head from above. If you do not want to wet your hair, take a shower cap. There's a hair dryer in the room.

The location was convenient for public transport.
We faced significant issues with air conditioning that was barely functional in both rooms we tried. The breakfast offerings were disappointing, mostly consisting of stale pastries and limited options. We even experienced a power blackout that left us stranded for hours, particularly distressing with a young child in tow.

Nice hotel in the heart of Rome, near Termini Station and near the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Entrance from Via Cavour. Easy to find, walking from the station down Via Cavour. Nice room, equipped with everything you need. Cleaned with quality. Got a fridge, air conditioning, safe, hair dryer, bidet. TV has many channels and Rai 24. Cozy breakfast room. If you close the window, the noise from the street does not penetrate - the window overlooks the courtyard. When leaving you can leave your suitcase until the evening. At check-in placed before the designated time. It is located on the 5th floor (elevator - button 4). Not bad, but monotonous breakfasts: finely sliced cheese of the same kind and ham, good pastries, fresh bread. Breakfast from 7 to 10. There's a restaurant downstairs on the ground floor. Almost around the corner is a good pizzeria Gallina Blanca (via A.Rosmini).
No more than 2 people get into the cramped elevator. Coffee-machine in the breakfast room makes several kinds of coffee, but everything is not very good. Sound insulation is not good enough - you can hear the conversations in the hall. On departure, a city tax of 4 euros per night is taken only in cash.

Does it deliver?
Great location near Termini station! The rooms are clean and provide good value for money, especially if you just need a place for the night.
Bedding could be more comfortable, as the hard mattresses affected my sleep. The breakfast lacked variety, mostly offering sweet items.

Very good location: 3-5 minutes walk to Termini Station, 15-20 minutes walk to the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, also to the Fountain de Trevi and the city center... The main routes are shown on the map and they advise you where to go and how to get there. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. The room is clean, the furniture is new, has everything you need, it was nice to be in the room. When it was cold, I helped out with the split.
Very poor soundproofing is a major drawback. You can hear everything that happens in the hallway and the next room. The water from the shower is barely coming, the pressure is weak... The blanket's coming out without a duvet cover, which is very unpleasant. Breakfast is very scarce, but basically justifies the cost per night. The tax should be paid in cash, then you should have warned about it in advance.

Excellent location, within walking distance to the center train station. The staff in the reception was quite nice and helpful when we said we'd like to change another room (due to the air condition problem). The rooms were newly renovated, so the overall facilities functioned well.
There was no additional blanket in the room, the only thing we got was a big white sheet for two persons, so we have to use the bed cover in the evening when it got a little chilli. The hotel share the building with others, and they have their rooms on the 4th and 5th floor. The public elevator is a bit of old style and annoying, with max 3 person or 2 person with luggages per ride, so we have to climb by feet sometimes. There was no room for luggage deposite , their idea was to drop the bags in the breakfast room next to the reception desk. Poor breakfast.

It's clean, cleaned up daily. Close to Termini railway station, it was convenient to start the daily sightseeing route. The variety of local restaurants under the nose. Breakfast is monotonous, but it's for the money. The elevator works. The staff is friendly, polite.
The number seemed bigger in the photo. When returning to the room, the first door from the floor was always locked, we had to go down to the floor below the reception with a request to open (did not strain). There are no glasses or corkscrews in the room (instead of corkscrews, who needs, you can use the hooks, for which the sides are tied curtains!!!). There is no view from the window - inside, only ventilation shafts and windows of neighbors.

Excellent location, 300 meters from Termini Station, 15-20 minutes walk to the main attractions. There are only two stars on the hotel's sign. The hotel occupies the fourth floor of a six-storey building consisting of the same hotels. Fully consistent with the photo and description on the site, except for the stars, but perhaps three stars it will pull. Cleaning and change of towels daily. The wi-fi is normal. On a nearby street a decent supermarket working from 7 to 24, which is basically rare for Rome.
Breakfast is a separate song. In general, the whole breakfast is a picked ham or cheese sandwich and 2-3 kinds of tea, coffee or juice buns. If you want, you can think of cereals with milk, using milk for coffee from a small pitcher. But no one promises you a place at the table. All rooms have 4 double tables and a sofa to wait in line for these cherished tables. So the meagre menu here is very helpful, it reduces the time spent on the sofa waiting in line for his breakfast.

The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions and local tips. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the main train station and close to many good restaurants.
Room could use more soundproofing.
